A good feature of hubzilla is the ability to have multiple channels and profiles for a single account.

Is it possible for the 'directory' module to have a section dedicated to businesses, to jobs announcements, to peoples' professional profiles?

Fediverse should have a space similar to 'linkedin'.

@Hubzilla Support Forum isn't that what channels can be used for? one account can have several channels, each with it's own focus or purpose.

i tried that once, not for a separate business space, but for following fediverse influencers, popular guys / gals, mostly on mastodon, but found it not helpful. i would have to forward posts to myself if i wanted to use them in the other channel.

but what you describe seems well fitted for the channel model.

There is a channel setting for "Adult content" which I assume connects to the directory option of "safe mode". I imagine some sort of channel flag / directory option for professional content could be made. Of course, it would only be useful if people consistently set it.
